Police update: CCTV of Bolivar Hotel robbery

Police continue to investigate an aggravated robbery at a Bolivar licenced premises last year and have released CCTV vision of the suspect.

Just before 4.50am, Thursday 16 November, a masked man entered the premises on Port Wakefield Road and smashed the glass window of a cashier's counter.

The suspect, who was armed with an axe, demanded money from staff before exiting the premises on foot with a small amount of cash. He was last seen and running north on Port Wakefield Road.

The man is described as about 173cm, average build, wearing a light-coloured hoody, gloves and wearing a white mask. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Detectives today released CCTV footage of the incident while the investigation continues.
