Police update: Charges - Stolen Vehicle - Nightcliff

Northern Territory Police Strike Force Trident have arrested 3 youth in relation to a vehicle robbery in Nightcliff on Sunday.

The vehicle was recovered abandoned in Malak yesterday.

Investigations linked the stolen vehicle with unlawful entries in Parap and Wanguri on Sunday night.

Detectives arrested 3 males, aged 13, 14 and 17, at locations in Casuarina and Malak yesterday.

The 13-year-old was charged with:

  • 1 x Aggravated burglary- dwelling
  • 1 x Theft
  • 1 x Driving/using/riding motor vehicle without consent
  • 1 x Escape from lawful custody

The 14-year-old was charged with:

  • 1 x Aggravated Robbery
  • 1 x Driving/ using/riding motor vehicle without consent
  • 2 x Aggravated burglary- dwelling
  • 2 x Theft
  • 1 x Unlawfully possess property
  • 2 x Obtain Financial advantage by deception

The 17-year-old was charged with:

  • 1 x Driving/ using/riding motor vehicle without consent
  • 1 x Obtain financial advantage by deception
  • 1 x Theft
  • 1 x Unlawfully possess property
  • 1 x Possess schedule 2- less trafficable quantity

All were remanded to appear in court today.
