The Burpengary Forensic Crash Unit has charged a 22-year-old woman after investigations into a fatal two vehicle crash in Elimbah on March 24.
Police were called to Bigmor Drive around 7.30pm after a silver Mitsubishi ASX collided with a silver Ford Falcon.
The driver of the Ford, a 59-year-old Elimbah man, was transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and died on April 7.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 22-year-old Eliimbah woman, was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
The 22-year-old Elimbah woman has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death whilst adversely affected by an intoxicating substance whilst excessively speed and did drive under the influence of liquor.
She is due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on June 17.
