Forensic Crash Unit investigations continue following a fatal truck crash at Canoona this morning 19 November.
Two passengers in a Freightliner truck, a 21-year-old Koongal woman and a two-year-old Koongal girl, were declared deceased at the scene.
The Freightliner truck driver, a 24-year-old Koongal man, was airlifted to hospital for treatment to life-threatening injuries.
The driver of a Mercedes-Benz truck, a 24-year-old man from Toongabbie, NSW, sustained minor injuries.
The Bruce Highway remains closed and is expected to be for most of the day. Anyone with information or footage is urged to contact police.
