Police update: further charges, trespassing incidents Millmerran and Yangan

Detectives from the Major and Organised Crime Squad (Rural) together with officers from the Darling Downs, Moreton, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast have made further arrests following trespassing incidents at agricultural locations in late March and early April.

On March 23, a number of people allegedly entered a feedlot on Bostock Road, Millmerran.

On April 5, police charged a 29-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man from Margate with unlawfully entering farming land (trespass).

A further eight people have since been charged with one count of entering farming land (trespass) for their alleged involvement in this incident. All are due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on various dates.

On April 8, a number of people entered an agricultural facility at Yangan. On April 16, police charged 11 people on 18 charges, including unlawfully entering farming land (trespass) and drug offences.

A further eight people have since been charged for this incident. All were charged with one count of entering farming land (trespass). These 19 persons are due to appear in the Warwick Magistrates Court on various dates in the next several weeks.
