A woman has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Manoora last night.
At 11.50pm police were called to a unit complex on Marchant Street following reports a man had been wounded with a knife.
A 25-year-old Cairns man was located deceased at the scene after sustaining a serious neck injury.
A 21-year-old Mareeba woman was located nearby and taken into police custody.
She has since been charged with one count of murder and is due to appear in Cairns Magistrates Court on February 22.
