Police update: Homicide investigation, Bracken Ridge

Police have charged a man with murder following the death of another man in Bracken Ridge yesterday.

Officers attended a residence on Wobur Street at 12.30pm, yesterday afternoon (January 31) locating a 39-year-old Bracken Ridge man deceased.

Detectives from Carseldine Criminal Investigation Branch arrested a 28-year-old Bracken Ridge man this morning and have since charged him with one count of murder.

He is expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow (February 2).

Police will allege the two men were known to each other.

Police continue to appeal for anyone who may have information in relation to the man's death, or who may have seen anything suspicious in the vicinity of Wobur Street between 12pm and 2am (January 31) to contact police.
