Police update: Missing man, McDowall

Police are renewing their appeal for assistance to locate a 46-year-old man reported missing from Brisbane's north last month.

Simon McKean from McDowall was last seen walking on Cilento Street around 3:30pm on Saturday, June 27.

A search of nearby bushland by police and SES volunteers has failed to locate any sign of him.

Simon suffers from a medical condition and urgently requires medication.

The 46-year-old is described as around 170cm tall, Caucasian with an olive complexion, blue eyes, shaved head and a short grey beard.

He was last seen wearing black pants, black headphones and was likely carrying a green shopping bag.

Simon could also have a bandage or dressing on his left forearm.

Anyone with further information is urged to contact police immediately.
