Police update: Missing woman, Reid River

Police continue to search for missing woman, Rikki Mitchell, who was last seen on Tuesday morning, May 2.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare as her disappearance is out of character and she has not made contact with anyone since Monday.

Today police will continue to search the Reid River rest area and are appealing for anyone who was in the area on May 2 to contact police.

Detectives are also appealing for anyone who travelled the Flinders Highway between Townsville and Charters Towers on May 2 who has dashcam vision to contact police.

Rikki is described as Caucasian with an olive complexion, approximately 165cm tall with a proportionate build and brown hair. She was last seen wearing dark blue denim shorts, a black singlet top and green thongs.
