Police Update: Pedestrian Dies After Crash - Bradbury

A woman has died following a crash in Sydney's southwest earlier this month.

About 6.30pm on Wednesday 9 September 2025, emergency services were called to Taber Place, Bradbury, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 60-year-old woman before she was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene which was forensically examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit, who took carriage of the matter.

The driver of the vehicle – a 24-year-old man – was taken to hospital for mandatory testing, before he was taken to Campbelltown Police Station and charged. He remains before the courts.

Police were informed that about 9pm yesterday (Wednesday 17 September 2025), the 60-year-old woman died in hospital.

Police will now prepare a report for the coroner.

Inquiries are ongoing.
