Police update: PSPA revoked, Valkyrie

Police have revoked an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) following an incident in Valkyrie on February 10.

The PSPA was revoked at 4.45pm yesterday (February 11) with all roads re-opened by 6.35pm.

Police would like to thank the community for their assistance and understanding.

Earlier: Police have issued an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to a B-double truck carrying dangerous cargo which rolled-over on Fitzroy Development Rd, Valkyrie at around 5.20 this morning.

The exclusion zone encompasses 3 kilometres around the crash site, including the airspace above.

Traffic is being diverted around the exclusion zone from Peak Downs Hwy and Golden Mile Road.
