Police update: Second man charged over multiple business break insin Brisbane and Moreton

North Gateway Property Team have arrested and charged a second man in connection with the 20 linked enter premises and property crime related incidents across Brisbane and Moreton.

A 47-year-old Boondall man was taken into custody yesterday afternoon and charged with 12 of the alleged break and enter offences at North Lakes, Aspley, Nundah, Boondall, Aspley, Strathpine, Murrumba Downs, Bulimba and Sandgate.

The man's bail was opposed, and he is to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning.

Investigators are continuing into the destructive break and enter offences that cause significant damage to businesses in the community.

Further arrests and charges are likely.
