Police have charged a 42-year-old man following a serious traffic crash in Yeerongpilly this morning, 9 October.
Just after 10am, police will allege a white hatchback travelling on Fairfield Road struck a 33-year-old pedestrian.
Police will further allege the driver of the hatchback failed to remain on the scene.
The male pedestrian was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A 42-year-old Mount Gravatt East man has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, 10 October.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses, especially those with relevant dashcam vision between 9.30am and 10.05am to come forward.
