Police Update: Serious Traffic Crash, Mount Louisa

A man has passed away in hospital following a serious traffic crash in Mount Louisa on Friday, June 13.

About 4.20am, an e-scooter rider was located unresponsive on Dalrymple Road.

The rider, a 34-year-old Mundingburra man, was transported to Townsville University Hospital, however, has since died.

Police are seeking to speak to the driver of a blue Holden Commodore Ute who was in the area at the time of the incident.

The Forensic Crash Unit are appealing to the driver of the Holden and anyone with information or relevant vision to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
