Police have charged a 15-year-old boy in connection with a serious traffic crash at Garbutt involving a stolen Hilux on July 14.
It will be alleged the 15-year-old Kirwan boy was driving the Hilux involved in the crash and fled the scene following the incident.
Following investigations officers located and arrested the boy at Garbutt on Tuesday 29 July.
He has been charged with four counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts each of enter premises with intent, unlicenced driving, one count each of burglary, enter premises and commit indictable offence, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, wear mask with intent to commit indictable offence, obstruct police.
The boy was remanded in custody and is due to reappear in Townsville Children's Court on August 7.
