Police update: Wounding, Fortitude Valley 5 September

A man has been charged with allegedly wounding a 25-year-old Eumundi man in Fortitude Valley last weekend.

Around 1.20am on Sunday, August 29, police located the man with wounds to his abdomen after an altercation took place with another group of men.

He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives have today located an 18-year-old Zillmere man and charged him with attempted robbery and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was refused police bail and will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Investigations continue.
