Detectives have charged a man following the investigation of a wounding incident at Varsity Lakes Sunday afternoon (March 19).
It will be alleged around 2.30pm Sunday (March 19) on Willow Street, a 20-year-old man was located with a stab wound to his abdomen.
He was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Tonight detectives charged a 23-year-old Mermaid Waters man with one count each of grievous bodily harm and threatening violence.
He will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today.
