Police appeal for information following Wyndham Vale burglary

Police are appealing for public assistance following a burglary in Wyndham Vale in January, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told a man approached the front door of an Ison Road home about 2.15pm on 9 January.

The man started peering through the door before wandering around the side towards the backyard.

Police believe the home was broken into on the same day sometime between 8am and 4pm.

The offender/s ransacked the property and stole jewellery and electrical items.

Police have released images and CCTV of a man they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.

He is perceived as aged in his 40s and was wearing black Asics trainers, blue jeans and a grey hooded jacket with black lining on the hood.

It is not established whether the man was involved in the break-in.
