Police are investigating, following the discovery of the body of a woman and an injured man in Milperra today, NSW Police say.
About 1.45pm today, police were called to a home on Links Avenue.
Officers from Bankstown Local Area Command forced entry to the home and discovered the body of a woman, believed to be aged in her 60s.
A man, also believed to be aged in his 60s, was located in the home with serious injuries. He was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to hospital in a critical condition.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing.
Initial investigations suggest the man and woman are in a domestic relationship and no other person is being sought in relation to their deaths.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
