Positive Covid Case Update

Two new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the Northern Territory in the past 24 hours.

The two men, aged 60 and 39 years, arrived on the repatriation flight from New Delhi on 18 July 2021 and have tested positive for COVID-19.

They are asymptomatic and are under the care of NT Health at the NT Centre for National Resilience.

Since repatriation flights to the Northern Territory began on 23 October 2020:

· 10,675 international arrivals have undertaken quarantine at the Howard Springs Centre for National Resilience.

· A total of 137 positive COVID-19 cases have been reported from international repatriation.

The total number of cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory is 200. There are currently eight active cases in the Northern Territory.
