A truck driver has tested positive to drugs following a crash on the down track of the freeway in the Adelaide Hills, according to SA Police.
Just after 4am on Friday 1 December, police were called to the South Eastern Freeway at St Ives after a prime mover crashed into the rear of a b-double.
Both drivers were drink and drug tested with the driver of the b-double testing positive to methamphetamine.
Neither driver was injured and one lane is currently closed while arrangements are made for the prime mover to be towed.
The driver of the b-double, a 40-year-old man from Semaphore Park may face drug driving charges pending forensic analysis of the sample.
