Lottery hopefuls across Australia were left empty-handed after no ticket matched all the required numbers to claim the jackpot in Thursday night's Powerball draw 1458.
The jackpot prize pool will now roll over to $40 million for the next draw, boosting the potential windfall for lucky players.
The winning numbers for draw 1458 were 20, 32, 29, 3, 34, 17, and 28, with the Powerball number being 18.
While the elusive Division One prize remained unclaimed, there were still reasons to celebrate for over half a million Australians who secured prizes across the lower divisions.
The total prize pool for draw 1458 surpassed $37.3 million, with winners emerging in all nine divisions.
Three lucky tickets shared the Division Two prize pool of nearly $475,000 (approximately $158,254.95 each).
554,036 entries pocketed $12.35 in Division Nine.
