Premier Cricket Fixture Confirmed for 2025/26 Season

Cricket Victoria has released the 2025/26 Premier Cricket fixture for both the men's and women's competitions, with another exciting season of Victoria's peak club competition on the horizon.

The men's competition will open with reigning premiers St Kilda hosting traditional rivals Prahran in Round 1, setting the tone for a highly anticipated campaign. A Grand Final re-match between St Kilda and Carlton will follow in Round 3 at Princes Park, while Essendon and Richmond will return to Bendigo for a feature country match after their successful fixture in Gippsland last summer.

A highlight of the calendar remains the annual Indigenous Match between St Kilda and Northcote, which will be held on 17 and 18 January. The Men's 1st XI season will culminate in a three-day Grand Final from 27 until 29 March.

T20 cricket will also be a feature in the men's calendar, with a 1st and 2nd XI double-header scheduled for Sunday 30 November, followed by a 1st XI T20 Semi/Quarter Finals Day on Sunday 21 December, and the T20 Grand Final on Monday 26 January.

In the women's competition, the season will begin with T20 matches aligned with the WBBL Spring Challenge, providing strong momentum into the season ahead.

With Box Hill City Oval undergoing ground renovations, reigning Premiers Box Hill will play 1st XI matches out of Schramms Reserve in Doncaster. Meanwhile, Toorak Park will host its first women's night match on the weekend of 12-13 December, with Prahran facing Ringwood under lights.

The 1st XI Women's T20 Grand Final will be played on Monday 26 January, while the One Day Grand Final is scheduled for Saturday 14 March.

Cricket Victoria General Manager of Premier Cricket & Community Cricket, Liam Murphy, said:

"Premier Cricket continues to provide a critical pathway combining both high level competition and nurturing the state's best emerging and established talent. We're proud to see continued innovation in the fixture; from matches in regional centres to the growing profile of our women's competition."

"We are committed to provide the best possible environment for our players, coaches, umpires and volunteers to perform at their highest level. The 2025/26 season promises to be another fantastic chapter in Victorian Premier Cricket."
