Following consultation with the peak councils and other interested parties, we have developed a draft Statement of Principles for employers on making sure that employees have genuinely agreed to an enterprise agreement.
Justice Hatcher, President of the Fair Work Commission, has issued a statement outlining the due dates for submissions on the draft Statement of Principles.
We are committed to implementing changes to the enterprise bargaining and enterprise agreement approval processes in an open and transparent way and with the needs of our users in mind. We encourage active involvement from all interested parties.
Submissions will be published on our website, and interested parties will have the opportunity to respond to submissions received.
