Sex Crimes Squad detectives have charged a man with alleged child abuse material offences under Strike Force Glandore.
Strike Force Glandore was established in 2023 by State Crime Command's Sex Crimes Squad Child Internet Exploitation Unit (CIEU) to investigate the online distribution, supply and access of child abuse material.
As part of ongoing investigations, about 11.15am today (Wednesday 14 January 2026) strike force detectives executed a search warrant at a home in Prestons.
During the search, police seized phones, laptops, computers and other storage devices.
A 22-year-old man was arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station, where he was charged with three counts of use carriage to access child abuse material.
The man was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court today (Wednesday 14 January 2026).
Investigations under Stike Force Glandore continue.
