Police have commenced investigations after multiple vehicle fires in Sydney's south west overnight.
About 1.55am today (Thursday 12 February 2026), emergency services were called to Maiden Street, Greenacre, following reports two vehicles had caught alight in the driveway of a home.
About 2.10am today (Thursday 12 February 2026), emergency services were called to Stiller Place, Greenacre, following reports a car had caught alight in the driveway of a home.
NSW Fire and Rescue extinguished the fires at both locations.
There was no structural damage caused to the homes, and there have been no reports of injuries.
Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command have established crime scenes at both locations and commenced investigations into the fires, which are being treated as suspicious.
At this time, no links between have been established between the fires, and no links have been identified between these fires and two separate shootings which occurred in Guildford earlier in the night.
