Property crime arrests in Whitsunday, QLD

Detectives from the Whitsunday CIB are continuing investigations into property crime offences reported recently, including those that occurred around the time of Tropical Cyclone Debbie, Queensland Police say.

In the past week, a number of search warrants have been executed in the Whitsunday area which have resulted in multiple items of stolen property being seized and numerous persons being arrested.

In total, three people have been arrested and charged with a variety of offences including; stealing by looting, receiving tainted property, possessing tainted property and fraud.

These matters are now before the Proserpine Magistrates Court.

Investigations into these offences are continuing and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
