Protective Security Officer suspended, Operations Support Command

A male Protective Security Officer from the Operations Support Command has been suspended from the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Police say.

The officer is subject of criminal allegations relating to stealing as a servant and trespass. He is set to appear before the Townsville Magistrates Court on October 18 2018.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean that te allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
