PSPA declaration at Warwick 13 March

Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to an unfolding incident at Warwick tonight.

The declaration was made at approximately 10pm with boundaries encompassing Wood Street, Gore Street, Grafton Street and Dragon Street.

Police are currently responding to reports of an armed person in this area.

Residents within the exclusion zone are urged to stay inside their properties.

Police are currently conducting emergency operations in the area and requesting members of the public and aircraft to not attend the declared location.
