Police have made a declaration under the Public Safety and Preservation Act tonight at Bruce Bishop carpark, Surfers Paradise.
The exclusion zone surrounding the carpark is bound by Gold Coast Highway to the west, Cavill Avenue to the east, Surfers Paradise Boulevard to the north and Clifford Boulevard to the south.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area at this time.
