PSPA declared in Upper Mount Gravatt, QLD

Police have made an emergency declaration following an incident in Upper Mount Gravatt this evening, Queensland Police say.

Shortly before 3pm, police responded to an incident in Dowrie Street.

A declaration was made under the Public Safety and Preservation Act  6.50 pm and in encompasses the boundaries of Dawson Road, Belcaro Street to Perkins Street and through a park to Mount Gravatt-Capalaba Road, Newnham Road and back to Dawson Road.

These roads are not closed; however, delays are expected.

Police are asking people within that area to shelter in place and follow police instructions.
