PSPA Emergency Declaration Declaration, Nukku

Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) following a traffic crash in the South Burnett this morning, 21 August.

Around 5.50am, police and emergency services were called to the Daguilar Highway at Nukku, following reports of a head-on crash between a fuel tanker and a heavy rigid transport truck.

The PSPA was declared at 6.15 am with a 1-kilometre exclusion zone boundary in place, encompassing the Daguilar Highway and the northern end of Nukku Road and southern end of Nukku Boundary Road.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area and drive with care.
