In response to the storm and tempest emergency (an emergency that impacted the Northern Beaches yesterday) a number of public information points are being established this morning to provide members of the public with up to date information and assistance, NSW Police say.
Four public information points will be established at the following locations:
- Seven Eleven Service Station - Pittwater Rd, Nth Narrabeen
- Lakeside Caravan Park, Nth Narrabeen (near the site management office)
- Berry Reserve carpark, Pittwater Rd, Narrabeen
- Pittwater Rd, Collaroy (between Ramsay and Stuart Street).
Representatives from NSW SES, NSW Police, NSW Rural Fire Service, Fire & Rescue NSW and Northern Beaches Council will be on hand to speak with residents and assist wherever possible.
Residents who require storm or flood assistance should contact the SES on 132500 or in a life threatening situation contact 000 immediately.
