Qantas and Jetstar have added up to 27 additional flights to and from Melbourne to
help Brisbane-based fans get to the game next weekend.
The additional capacity is in addition to the airlines' current schedule and has now gone on sale.
Between Friday 26 September and Monday 29 September:
- Qantas has added seven additional return flights between Brisbane and Melbourne and one
additional flight between Melbourne and Brisbane operated by its Boeing 737 aircraft.
- Jetstar has added six additional return flights from Brisbane operated by its Airbus A320
aircraft.
In total more than 4,500 additional seats have been added to the schedule. As always, the cheapest seats sell the fastest, so fans are encouraged to book as early as possible.
