Bass Coast Shire Council is reviewing how the cost of rates is shared by different property types.
That is how farming, commercial and residential properties contribute to the rates Council collects. Community feedback is being sought on four options which show how each property type will be affected.
There are a range of ways to have your say.
Community Information sessions will be held in Wonthaggi on Tuesday, 3 March at the Old Post Office, corner McBride Avenue and Watt Street and in Cowes on Thursday, 5 March at the Cowes Cultural Centre, 91-97 Thompson Avenue.
At each session, there are appointments available from 4.00pm to 5.00pm, an open forum from 5.00pm to 6.00pm and a group presentation/discussion from 6.00pm.
