Re-appeal to locate woman missing from Westmead

Police are re-appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Westmead.

Yasmin Younan, also known as Yasmin Forde and Yasmin Jones, aged 40, was last seen by staff at Westmead Hospital about 1.30am on Tuesday18 October 2022.

When she could not be located, officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Inquires have established that she was last seen in the Sydney CBD at the intersection of Bathurst and George Streets, about 6pm on Friday 24 October 2022.

At the time Yasmin was wearing a black facemask, a grey shirt with button blue jeans and grey footwear.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Yasmin's welfare.

Yasmin is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 166cm tall, of large build, with short blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Police believe Yasmin may be in the Guildford, Merrylands, Parramatta or Sydney CBD areas.

Anyone with information into Yasmin's whereabouts is urged to contact Parramatta Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
