Reappeal after armed robbery in Sydney CBD

Police are reappealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Sydney's CBD in October.

About 9:45am on Thursday 22 October 2020, a man entered a licensed premises on George Street, Sydney and threatened a 36-year-old male employee with a knife before fleeing with a sum of cash.

The employee was not physically injured and notified police.

As investigations by Sydney City Police Area Command continue, police are hoping to identify the man in the CCTV images who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man depicted is described as being of South American appearance, about 165 - 170 cm tall, aged in his 30s, of medium build, with a dark-haired moustache and goatee.

He is shown wearing a long sleeved light blue shirt, denim jeans, sneakers, a white cap, and is carrying a red bag.
