Rebels OMCG members arrested, South Australia

Police from the Crime Gangs Task Force have arrested six members of the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Group (OMCG) over the past week.

The six members were arrested for allegedly being participants in a criminal organisation who were knowingly present in public places with two or more other persons who are participants in a criminal organisation.

The offences allegedly occurred on 14 December 2018 at the Adelaide Airport, on 31 December 2018 at a licenced premises in the Riverland, and on 19 January at a licenced premises at Glenelg.

The arrested men are -

  • A 37-year-old man from Salisbury Heights who was bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 19 March.
  • A 44-year-old man from Craigmore who was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 28 February.
  • A 23-year-old man from Elizabeth Park who was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 28 February – charged with three counts.
  • A 25-year-old man from Mawson Lakes who was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 28 February – charged with two counts.
  • A 26-year-old man from Walkley Heights who was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 27 February – charged with two counts.
  • A 31-year-old man from Evanston Gardens who was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 6 March.
