Wednesday 18 July, 2018: Woolworths is recalling Essentials Domestic Cleaner Regular 1.25L (ID 335172) and Essentials Domestic Cleaner Fresh 1.25L (335173) with use by dates up to and including June 2019. These products have been sold in Woolworths and Metro stores nationally from April 2016 to 18 July 2018.
Woolworths is recalling these products due to a faulty child resistant cap which could cause the product to leak. Essentials Domestic Cleaner is a poisonous substance. If the product leaks it may pose a health risk to customers and possible damage to property.
Customers should wear gloves and immediately dispose of the contents by flushing the detergent down the sink with plenty of running water and wipe any affected areas with a damp white cloth. Customers need to rinse the bottle and cap with water and present the rinsed out bottle and/or a purchase receipt to any Woolworths supermarket or Metro store for a full refund. ---
