Hundreds of travel agents in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney are being targeted at the NT Muster roadshow with the message the NT is the premier destination for Aboriginal arts and culture.
The Territorys rich art and culture is a major drawcard for national and international tourists and a key economic driver. The Territory Labor Government is investing $106 million to build a nationally significant Arts Trail throughout the Territory to support and grow our arts and cultural industry and provide new and enhanced attractions for national and international visitors.
The NT Muster provides the opportunity to present the progress of the Territory Labor Governments record $103 million Turbocharging Tourism package which is bringing thousands more visitors to the Territory, injecting millions of dollars into the economy and creating local jobs.
At the NT Muster, over 500 travel agents, inbound tour operators and wholesalers will learn more about what the Territory has to offer equipping them with the knowledge and skills to better sell the NT as a holiday destination to their clients. For the 34 NT operators, it is a perfect opportunity to showcase their tourism offerings and learn how to best market and sell their products.
The NT Muster roadshow commences in Brisbane tomorrow, moves to Melbourne on 6 March and onto Sydney on 7 March.

As stated by Sales and Marketing Manager, Kakadu Tourism, James Robinson:
Kakadu Tourism is excited to be attending NT Muster this year as it provides direct access to domestic travel agents who are key influencers when it comes to domestic travellers planning their next trip.
NT Muster brings all these agents to the one place where we can update them on our products.
By attending NT Muster we are able to liaise over three days with agents who genuinely want to learn more about Kakadu and the Northern Territory as a destination.
Kakadu Tourism will update these agents about our recently completed $1.6M refurbishments at Cooinda Lodge plus all the amazing experiences in Kakadu coming up this year including: Taste of Kakadu in May, The Northern Territory Travelling Film Festival including a screening of Top End Wedding in June, and we will be sharing some exciting new accommodation options at Cooinda Lodge that will be ready in July this year.
