Recovery hub relocates to Smithfield

The Community Recovery Hub at Trinity Bay Sports Hall will relocate to Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park in Smithfield on Saturday 6 January.

Community Recovery Hubs are places where residents who are experiencing hardship can access information, apply for grants, and obtain emotional and well-being support.

"The Smithfield Recovery Hub (Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park) will allow services to be reconciled in a location central to those most impacted," Cr Coghlan said.

The Smithfield Recovery Hubs will be open daily, from 9am to 4pm.

Council also advises that the Machans Beach donation hub has now closed however people wanting to donate are encouraged to do so via www.givit.org.au.
