Renmark pair charged with drug trafficking, SA

Riverland Police today arrested two people for drug trafficking and recovered some stolen property, according to SA Police.

With the assistance of Police Drug Dog Kira and her handler, police searched a Renmark residential address this morning, Thursday 28 September. It will be alleged police located about 15 grams of a substance believed to be ice, $2500 in cash and some property reported stolen during a break-in on 26 September.

A 28-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, both from Renmark, were arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug. They were bailed to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court on 13 November.

Investigations into the stolen property are ongoing.
