A rescue operation is continuing following a single-vehicle crash in the state's north east.
About 9.15am today (Wednesday 1 July 2026), emergency services were called to Barry Road, Nundle, following reports a ute had left the road and crashed down a steep embankment.
A multi-agency rescue operation commenced, with resources assisting from Fire and Rescue NSW, NSW Ambulance, State Emergency Service, Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and police from Oxley Police District.
A 17-year-old girl has been removed from the vehicle in a serious but stable condition, and is being treated at the scene by paramedics.
Emergency services are working to remove her from the crash site.
The operation is ongoing.
