Work is progressing on Burke and Wills Track as part of a major upgrade to improve road safety and durability.
The project follows earlier reconstruction works which strengthened part of the existing road pavement and upgraded drainage along the route.
The $2.386 million upgrade is funded through Council's Sealed Road Renewal Program and the Australian Government's Roads to Recovery Program.
What's happening?
Resealing works will take place between Macedon Ranges Shire/Mitchell Shire boundary (near Glenhope) and McDonalds Lane (near Mia Mia) from Monday 10 November and are expected to be completed by Monday 17 November, weather permitting.
Traffic impacts
Traffic management will be in place throughout the works, with minor delays expected.
Access to directly impacted properties will be maintained, but some delays may occur.
