Restaurant fire in Berala

Emergency services have attended a fire at a restaurant in Berala overnight, NSW Police say.

Just after 10.30pm today, emergency services were called to Woodburn Road, where they found a small fire alight within the restaurant

NSW Fire & Rescue officers attended and contained the fire to the kitchen area, extinguishing it a short time later.

The restaurant was closed at the time and no one was injured.

Officers attached to Flemington Local Area Command attended.

The fire is believed to have started in the kitchen area and is not being treated as suspicious.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
