Rider critical after crash in Warilla

A motorcycle rider remains on life support following a crash in Warilla yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 8.35pm (Monday 19 March 2018), a 19-year-old man was riding a motorcycle west on Lake Entrance Road, Warilla, when it collided with a Honda Odysey Wagon that was travelling east.

The rider of the motorcycle suffered critical injuries and was air lifted to St George Hospital where he now remains on life support.

The 44-year-old driver of the vehicle was taken to Shellharbour Hospital for mandatory tests; she was not injured.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District attended the scene and are continuing investigations. They would like to speak with anyone who may have information, and haven’t yet spoken to police, to contact them at Lake Illawarra Police Station, or Crime Stoppers.
