Rider seriously hurt after three-vehicle crash in western Sydney, NSW

A motorcyclist was left serious injured after a three vehicle crash in Sydney’s west this morning, NSW Police say.

About 8.30am (Tuesday 25 September 2018), emergency services were called to the eastbound lanes of the M4 near the Prospect Highway at Prospect after a collision between two cars and a motorcycle.

The male motorcyclist was treated by Ambulance paramedics on site for suspected pelvic injuries. He was taken to Westmead Hospital for further treatment. He is understood to be in a serious condition.

The female driver of a white hatchback was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment to suspected shock.

The female driver of a silver 4WD was not hurt. She did not require further medical treatment. No further details are known about the involved parties at this time.

Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command are continuing their inquiries into the events leading up to the crash.
