Road closed after crash in Granville

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a crash in Sydney’s west, NSW Police say.

Just before 5.15pm (Monday 4 December 2017), emergency services were called to Blaxcell Street at Granville, after reports of a crash.

Initial inquires suggest a Honda CRV and a Hyundai Elantra had crashed head on.

The female driver of the Honda is being treated at the scene. A six-year-old girl was treated for facial injuries and taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital.

The male driver of the Hyundai and an infant passenger were treated at the scene and taken to hospital as a precaution.

No other details are known at this stage.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area with Blaxcell Street closed, between Louie and William Streets with local traffic diversions in place.
