The following road closures are in place on Sunday 28 April for the 7 Cairns Marathon.
- Spence Street: northbound lane closed between the Esplanade and Pier Point Road, from 4am to 7.30am
- Wharf Street: between Spence and Kenny streets, from 4.30am to 7.30am
- Esplanade: between Spence and Lily streets, from 5am to noon
- Abbott Street: between Upward and Kerwin streets, from 5am to 11.30am
- Lily Street: between the Esplanade and Lake Street, from 5am to 10.50am
- Lake Street: between Lily Street and Airport Avenue, from 5am to 11am
- Captain Cook Highway: northbound lanes between Lily Street and Aeroglen Drive, from 4.30am to 8am
- Collins Avenue: between the Captain Cook Highway and Friend Street, from 5am to 8am
- Aeroglen Drive: between the Captain Cook Highway and 33 Stratford Parade, from 5am to 7.45am
There will be no parking on the Esplanade, between Spence and Abbott streets from 4am until noon.
