Police have charged two teenage boys with multiple offences following a number of incidents in the South Burnett area earlier this week.
It will be alleged on three separate occasions between 1 to 2 December, the teens stole a 2011 Hyundai iX35 from a Haager Drive address at Moffatdale, a 2021 Mitsubishi Pajero from a Watt Street address in Murgon and a 2023 Nissan Xtrail from a Shelton Street address in Murgon.
All three vehicles were recovered by police.
Around 10am on 2 December the teens allegedly threatened a 64-year-old woman before attempting to steal a vehicle from a Cadell Street address in Wondai.
The woman from Wondai woman was not physically injured.
Shortly after at 10.15am on 2 December, it is alleged the teens unsuccessfully tried to physically remove a woman from her vehicle on Lamb Street in Murgon before leaving the scene.
A 69-year-old Tablelands woman received injuries to her neck and was taken to Kingaroy Hospital for treatment.
Around 10.25am on 2 December, the teens allegedly approached a man on a mobility scooter on Armstrong Street in Murgon, before stealing several bags from the man's scooter and leaving the scene.
The 85-year-old Murgon man was not injured.
Around 11am on 2 December Hyundai iLoad van was traveling along Cherbourg Road in Murgon when it was allegedly hit by a screwdriver thrown from the stolen Mitsubishi Pajero, causing damage to the windscreen.
The driver a 55-year-old Tingoora woman was not physically injured.
A 15-year-old Cherbourg boy has received 20 charges including four counts each of stealing and enter dwelling with intent, three counts each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts each of enter dwelling and commit and attempted robbery and one count each of possess house breaking implement, possess utensil, wilful damage, armed robbery and unlicenced driving.
He is due to appear in the Kingaroy Childrens Court on 3 December.
A 14-year-old Cherbourg boy has received 13 charges including three counts each of stealing, two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, attempted robbery and enter dwelling and commit and one count each of armed robbery, attempted unlawful use of a motor vehicle, robbery and wilful damage.
He is due to appear in the Kingaroy Childrens Court on 3 December.
